Beautifull and rare Dutch or English Colonial walnut wooden box/ coffer with brass mounts, first half 19th
Was in use for money, documents, bibles, cigars

A nice and firm brass handle on the lid and beautifully detailed and decorative brass/copper fittings and protective pieces on the corners

The box is in good condition. There is a woring key but the lock does no longer works

Very beautiful patina, rich in color

Dimensions 29 cm x 22 cm x 12.5 cm high. Inside is 25 cm x 18 cm.
