18th or early 19th century standing gilded wooden Buddha, Northern Thailand/Laos/Burma
Rigid frontal figure standing with both hands raised, with palms facing outwards on Lotus Flower Base and mounted on wooden stand
Beautiful age appropriate patina. some traces of lacquer and red paint.
Usersmarks relating to age, some chips and some small cracks, see pictures. Some old woodworm traces
Measures: the wooden base is 16,3 x 17,3 en 7,5 cm high (6.4"x 6.8" 3" high)
Total high with the base is 85 cm 33.5"
The hight of the statue allone is 77 cm 30.3 "
The total weight is 5,5 kilo = 12 lbs
