Antique wrought iron and stained glass Lantern, France 1900
This old French iron and stained-glass lantern dates to the early 1900s
The wrought iron frame of this lantern is ornated with decorative scrolls and throughout the top it has iron decorations of acanthus leaf and fleur-de-lys motifs.
One of the panels is a small door with a claps that can be opened to access the light bulb.
The stained glass is a combination of clear glass and light sand colored hammered opaque cathedral glass and the middle a green diamon shaped centerpiece
The lantern has been rewired, has a single light fixture and is also suitable for a led lamp.
