Beautiful antique Dutch  globe / globe lamp with an aluminium protractor, standing on a stylish wooden base with the original white light switch.

This globe is made of paper over glass, dates from approximately 1945-1950, and is to a scale of 1:38,500,000. A lovely small table model; this model is unique and rare as a lighting fixture, and very decorative. Due to the built-in lighting, the globe emits a warm, nostalgic glow in the dark, highlighting political borders and geographical details beautifully.
