Set of antique etched/sandblasted wooden panel doors, Art Nouveau/ Victorian
Description
Set of 2 antique wooden panel doors.
The upper half features a decorative pattern in frosted etched glass with floral and scroll motifs, the middle features a geometric design. In the corners are cranberry/ruby-colored glass corner pieces decorated with hand-cut stars. Also known as Friesecken.
These doors are approximately 120-130 years old, period Art Nouveau/ Victorian and are highly sought after for the restorations of old buildings/mansions. These doors originally came from a café in the Netherlands.
The doors are painted and weathered, and a section of one door has already been scraped.
The green door has two pieces of glass with a crack but are still firmly in the frame (see photos).
The doors are perfectly straight.
Dimensions:
193 cm high x 3 cm deep. One door is 56.2 cm wide and the other is 55.5 cm wide. Total 111.7
