Friso Kramer Revolve office swivel desk chair Ahrend de Cirkel, first edition 1960
Description
Very rare and hard to find industrial Revolve office desk chair first edition, designed by Friso Kramer and manufactured by Ahrend de Cirkel, The Netherlands 1960.
The chair has a light grey lacquered metal frame with its distinged open worked feet. The seat, back and arms are upholstered in the original blue fabric in used condition.
Very comfortable swivel desk chair, adjustable in height and rotates 360 degrees. It is marked at the rotation knob and at the backrest “Ahrend de Cirkel”. Also underneath the famous round sticker "Ahrend de Cirkel
The chair is in a used condition:
- the Original blue upholstery is worn on the armrests
- A small crack in the metal on one side at the back of the armrest, see detail photo
- Welded at 2 points on the bottom, see detail photo
