18th brass tea caddy or sugar box, oblatskrin

Description
Brass box ca 1730-1740. This is the early Rococo or late Baroque
Dutch or Scandinavian, where it is called an Oblatskrin.
It was used for various purposes, including tea box, sugar box, host box.
Oval with curved lid that is attached with a hinge, 3 small legs at the bottom.
On the front a decoration of a flower with on each side a putti /angel holding a noble crown.
The box is tinned on the inside.
Good and sturdy condition with normal traces of use and wear, the 3 legs have been soldered in the past.
