These postmodern vintage chairs are firm and comfortable and where designed by Karel Boonzaaijer & Pierre Mazairac for Hennie de Jong International Collections in the 1980s
Amazing patina on these cognac colored leather seats, in a beautiful, weathered condition, some 'user traces/stains/circles' in the leather, some scratches on the steel but nevertheless a fantastic set
Leather has been cleaned and waxed 2x
No damages, all stitching in excellent order. Solid and ready to be used!
In 1980, Pierre Mazairac and Karel Boonzaaijer, started their own design agency in Zeist, Mazairac and Boonzaadjer & partners. Later the design agency was called Mazairac Boonzaadjer en Van Tellingen & partners.
It specialized in industrial design with a focus on furniture design and had a separate section that focused on architecture. They have received several prices and awards for their work, including the Dutch Design Award
