Vintage Rob Parry Lotus Lounge Chair for Gelderland

Description

This vintage Lotus lounge Chair was designed by the mid-century Dutch designer and architect Rob Parry for the Dutch company Gelderland  in the 1960s.

Model 1611 High back version with the metal frame and straight legs is an early example of the Lotus Chair

This chair is completely original, the singles are also original and good.

Upholstery is in brown leather, the sides are made of white lacquered wood (this is also original) with a steel frame.
In a very good vintage condition 

With minimal use of materials the Lotus chair is probably one of the most important and best-known pieces of mid-century Dutch furniture design.

Dimensions: 37 cm seat height, 85 cm deep, 71 wide and 91 cm high.
