Vintage Montis Dutch Design swivel Half Shell Cocktail Lounge Chair in orange Leather, 1980s

Stunning retro vintage swivel chair/armchair in orange leather with an orange polyester tulip base, 1980s

I have three of these chairs in total. According to the previous owner, these are prototypes of the Dutch design brand Montis and were never released as a model. (See for last photo)

The chair with the four legs is the Coco model by Montis. This model was released but is rare to find. (see latest photo)
Montis is a Dutch design furniture brand, founded in 1974 by the Van den Berg brothers, who created stunning modern furniture of exceptional comfort and quality and had extensive expertise in leather.

Condition: There are some scratches on the leather from the previous owner's cat. A small spot from a cigaret ( see  picture with black arrow) The leather has been cleaned and re-greased.

Dimensions: total height 81 cm, depth 65 cm, width 63 cm, armrest height 62.5 cm, seat height 47 cm.
