Beautiful Scandinavian design by Bengt Akerblom from Sweden 1950s-1960s

This armchair / lounge chair is made of solid teak wood with beech wooden legs. Still has the original transparent rubber caps. 

This armchair has a steel frame and steel connection points under the armrests and backrest, which gives it a very sturdy construction and is also very easy to disassemble for reupholstery, which this chair indeed needs.

Would look great in velvet or De Ploeg upholstery.

Note the beautiful detail of this chair, such as the floating armrest, which is also slightly curved at the top so that your arm has a pleasant support.
