Old vintage Helio-Lux case with medical instruments for ultraviolet light therapy 1920s 1930s
This so called "Medical Cabinet," was sold as an electromedical stimulation device that used high-frequency currents and ultraviolet radiation to "heal with electricity".
The suitcase is made of wood and covered with faux crocodile leather.
Original wooden case covered with faux crocodile leather, the inside had a violet velvet background display. 2 metal clip closure with two keys
Very extensively equipped with an electricity converter with a rotary control switch, including various glass tubes. The principle was invented by Tesla who presented it at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893.
This is how it should work (we have not tested it)
You can adjust the intensity of the electrodes, from 1 to 12
As soon as it is activated, a sound is heard and the electrodes light up purple/blue
Each of the special borosilicate glass electrodes had specific actions on different parts of the body.
It was possible to combat acne, eczema, arthritis, gout, anal and vulvar itching, hysteria, psoriasis, alopecia areata, hair loss, frostbite, rheumatism and many other ailments...
It was also the ideal beauty device! It firmed the breasts and made wrinkles disappear, it also stimulates the muscles
It was easy to use and only a few minutes a day were enough.

Beautiful original condition. The case is complete but not tested. It is therefore purely decorative
This medical instrument is of course beautiful to display in a doctor's office, museum or at a fetish collector. Or to use on a film set
