The tapestry has been made in the first half of the 20th century in Belgium in the Aubusson style
It is in very good vintage condition with great colors
The tapestry has 7 loops for easy hanging
The brass rod is 136 cm wide
Size tapestry without loops : 86 cm H x 113 cm W

Falconry and hawking was greatly enjoyed and a favourite pastime amongst the women in the upper classes, noblewoman and royals in Europe from around 400 to 1855
The art of training a falcon or a hawk was not only a means of subsistence for many around 1650, but even a means of becoming rich, because it was not uncommon to pay 500 to 600 guilders for a good falcon or hawk.
