Pair of unique and rare Cast Iron Vintage Fairground Carnival Carousel Horse Heads Scuptures on stand

Early 1900, probably English ore American

Expressive look and great details like the open mouths fitted with reins and a wonderful original patina to the cast iron with traces of yellow, red and black paint throughout  which gives them an unique weathered look.

Very good condition with some wear to the paint. The red horse has small damage on the base of the handle by one of the four holes in the base ( see picture, this is probably accured when dismounting the piece)

The stands are old jack stands from a garage and are adjustable in height. Ideaal pieces for displaying these decorative horse heads
