Christer Blomquist for Ikea - "Kroken" lounge chair, 1970s
This 'Kroken' lounge chair wast designed by Christer Blomquist for Ikea in Sweden in 1979. The structure has been made from chromé tubular steel and the seat is made from thick cotton canvas in natural beige color.
The matras and cushion is reversable, the back is the same as the top so you can always interchange that
This lounge chair was featured on the cover of the 1979 Ikea catalog.
Ikea vintage items are hot at the moment and very sought after.
Looks great in a modern loft style or eclectic interior.
Canvas is in a good clean condition and is also reversable. The tubular chroom has been spolished, has some spotting ( see detailed pictures)
